Cathérine-Caroline was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, and raised in the southwest of France. If she started painting early as an autodidact, her artistic career began
throughout her university studies during which she was at first attracted to terracotta sculptures and ceramics.
Discovered by a Londoner patroness of young artists, she decided to pursue this career along with her career as a translator and interpreter.
Cathérine now lives in Germany, near the European metropolis Frankfurt. Cathérine transcribes the world in which she lives by expressive colors. Her work reflects as
well the similarities and cleavages of the French and German culture in which she evolves.
